Tons of them up here, ran over about 50 the last few days on the road. Their rut has kicked in this week, I absolutely hate those things

Use to see Tarantula's quite often as a kid in the 60's, not so much afterwards?

This fella was guarding the door when I arrived, relocated it to a cedar tree close by.

I use to be scared of them, now I like toying with them and will pick them up and relocate them. Can feel their strength when the walk along your arm.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

There used to be lots of them around Marshall when I was growing up. We would pick them up and play with them, even kept a few in an old aquarium till Mom found them. Haven't seen one around here in many, many years.

Found this guy crossing the road a few months ago. We see about 2 or 3 a year.

Those suckers have a 3 foot verticle jump, will make you have a screaming fit when it does.
