I have been extremely patient with SPYPOINT. For 3 months now I’ve been calling them at lease once a week trying to get my issue with their app fixed. Everything works except for the camera button option which is what you go into for camera settings. I have 7 cameras at 100 a year per camera. Is anyone else having this issue!!!

Everyone is having all sorts of issues with Spypoint all the damn time. We had 8 cameras, and we are now down to 4. The 4 we are down to now are just the ones that we were able to get fixed. None of the ones that we bought lasted more than 2 years without issues. Once these 4 go bad, we are just going to buy a different brand.

The only issue I’ve had with my SPYPOINT camera is not being able to take a photo at the next sync time.

We have been using SPYPOINT for several years now and I’ve been really happy with them until this issue. We now have 7 cameras and they all work great. I have found that if they quit working, you can either reformat the chip ir even easier just change it and all is good. The cameras have been good to us. The app not so much.

Yeah i had a spypoint that worked until it didnt, and they couldn’t help me at all with anything. It just stopped after less than a year. Took good pics for me, but didn’t last long.

It's the worst. I had 4-5 cameras and they're all out of commission now. The product is bad, but the customer service will make you wonder if you're being pranked by some sadistic group of Kafka fans that formed a PETA chapter.

Started with 1 spypoint and immediately switched to Tactacam Reveal products. $12 per camera/per month ($120 per cam/per year but I only use it 5-6 months). Haven’t had a single problem for 2 years, outside of some spotty cell signal but that’s not the cams fault.
I’ve found all my cams for under $100 on sale throughout the year.

I have 4 Spartan Cameras that have worked somewhat well for the past few years. I like Spartan except for the price per camera and the data plans are a bit on the expensive side. Also expensive and awkward to set up a solar system. Not a fan of having a separate box with a wire running. On what seems like each camera - the pictures also randomly stop transmitting until I physically do a format through the menu on the camera. Other than that - Spartan cameras are pretty consistent.

Saw the Spypoint camera with solar on sale for $130ish on Amazon. Decided to give it a try... and then bought another shortly after.

My biggest gripe with Spypoint is also the app. Seems to log me out fairly consistently. The notifications aren't consistent either. The logging out issue is especially painful since I share my login details with my father and our hunting buddies. On Spartan, you can send an invite so other people have register and view your cameras with their own login. Spypoint doesn't have a camera sharing feature so I have to provide my username/password for guests to access.

I feel like Spypoint could invest more in the app to make a much better experience. If the app was improved - I'd probably consider switching away from Spartan.

Last season we purchased every cell camera on the market to try. By far the best bang for the buck is the Bushnell CellUCore 20. By far and away the most reliable with the best app is the RidgeTec, but it's the most expensive as well.

Worst camera I ever bought. The detection circuits in them were awful. Had it in my backyard where I could see
deer and turkey at my feeder and a lot of the time no animal pictures captured. Put another brand camera next to it and it detected the wildlife
and stored the pictures. When it did take a picture it would transmit ok. Tried working with customer service to get a new camera and
that was a joke. All they wanted me to do was load the latest software which I did many times but still bad detection circuits.
Then the 3G was going away and flyer sent out that they would not work and you needed to buy the newest camera.
Needless to say I did not waste my money and went with another brand. Like others said - terrible product and terrible customer service.

I have two. One chit out before the 30 day trial was up and the other worked for about a year. Neither one will even turn on now. They sent a replacement for the one that us on a plan and it worked for ONE DAY. Now it will not even turn on.

I hope you guys are correct about the Bushnell being good. I have one but I haven't even been able to even add it to the account because of a "json" error. I get that that's a website problem, but I've also tried for two days to contact tech support....which I read is pretty good....and haven't connected with anyone yet. I have read that the new app is having growing pains as well. Seems to be the weak link in at least three of the cell camera brands.

I bought a bushnell and Tactacam at the same time to see what worked best. Tactacam has been perfect. Bushnell never sent a picture. Had 3 spy points and they are all trash.

I have 3 Spartan and 1 Browning. All work well, and I just purchased another Browning as they were offering the newer versions at a very good price.

Yea I am getting one pic a day, and it’s always sun movement. I’m done with them.

I don't know how Spypoint is still in business. Nothing but issues for me.
