I was wondering if anyone know of elk hunting lodge(s) in Colorado that are family friendly, i.e. the wife and young son can entertain themselves while I go hunting. I'm looking for a guided 2023 hunt and it would have to be OTC archery. I did find the C Lazy U Ranch that offers this, looking for other options as well.

There used to be a ranch in either Utah or Colorado that a retired NFL guy had. They had some high fence acreage that was fairly significant, and they had some stuff outside the fence too. I can’t remember the name or place, but might be worth a search.

Plenty of great free range elk hunting to be had, you can shoot high fence elk in Texas, but Broadmouth has low fence hunting too. With PP I would say Brush Creek Ranch over that place any day. Lots of nice places in Colorado too with OTC tags or RFW tags. NM has a ton of great elk hunting as well.

Yelp Archery hunting at Broadmouth on the HF is a challenge don’t be fooled, but the biggest value is your ability to pick up a rifle on last day etc. Op to be more specific it really depends on what you want to spend. You could go to Mescalero and family can be pampered at the Inn of the Mountain Gods

Unless they changed it no draw - LO has license - if you call talk to Mike - he is one of the owners and handles the hunting - spectacular place and the lodge is incredible https://www.hubbardslodge.com/

On their outfitting website, it states you have to draw for their rifle hunts.
