St Louis shooter’s rifle.
No hand guard. I would not want to fire a second shot with fingers on the gas tube.
Or it’s a false flag before elections.

I said the same thing to my wife. There’s no hand guard on that rifle. He would burn his hand big-time shooting multiple shots like that. She mentioned that he might have been wearing gloves. I suppose that’s possible, but not in any of the news reports that I’ve seen. I had not thought about the support hand holding the magazine as mentioned above.

Thought I saw a report where police had removed it from the home at his parent's request. Not sure how he got it back or if he found another.

Unfortunately, there are far too many of these whacked out kids sitting in classrooms these days.

Yep I’ve seen a bunch of new AR shooters hold the rifle by the magwell with their support hand. There is a company out there that makes a “grip” you can install on the front of the magwell for that type of shooting.

I’m sure he was holding it by the mag well. He probably saw it used that way on YouTube.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance at the family’s home on October 15 – just nine days before Monday’s shooting, according to a Wednesday night police statement.

“Officers responded and determined at that time the suspect was lawfully permitted to possess the firearm,” the statement obtained by CNN affiliate KMOV reads. “A third party known to the family was contacted and took possession of the firearm so that it would no longer be stored in the home.”

Police on Wednesday night confirmed that the gun removed from the home that day was the rifle that was used in the school shooting.

“How he acquired it after that … we don’t know,” Sack said. “We’re looking into that.”

I predict they will quit talking about this one pretty quick. It outlines many failures in the MSM narrative...first and foremost, the kid isn't a disgruntled kracker.
