Dang pigs are coming to the feeder at all times of the day and night. Had some on camera at 8 am, 9:30, and noon. The wife won’t let me shoot ‘em till the grandson gets some shooting in with the Grendel, so I’m on the bench for now.

It’s time to wear the pants in the family and go shoot the pigs if that’s what you want to do. And tell your wife you expect dinner to be ready when you get back.

I’d wait for the grandson. Sooner or later he will be waiting on “the old guy”.

This...maybe. When is the grandson coming? In the next few days? or weeks?

He showed up and didn’t see a pig. He left and I went on the hunt, and I haven’t seen a pig either. I could buy an infrared scope and go kill ‘em at 3 am, but that means I’d be hunting at 3 am. The dang pigs are just not on my preferred schedule. I’ll get em sooner or later.

I'm told red lights work well too if they're not too bright.

But hey, you've only gotta shoot em once at 3am to get all their friends to switch to day shift right?

Heck, we always used white lights and they got used them pretty fast. Like, usually five minutes.

I thought the grandson had the HOT Girlfriend, he ain't got time for shooting hogs he's got other things on his mind.

He’s got a new GF. Haven’t met her yet. They’ve known each other since they were tiny. Sounds promising. We have nekkid pictures of the two little kids being bathed together when they were tiny.

As for the pigs, I do have the green Hog Light at that one feeder. All I need is for the dang hogs to visit that feeder when I’m in the stand. Sounds so simple, but isn’t going my way so far. We are back from our travels now, and I’m going after pigs…but not this afternoon. I need rest.

I can't quite pin it down, but this is disturbing...on some level. Nekid (there's only one 'k') pics the grandparents have, of a potential mate, sounds like......Arkansas.

Nekkid has two k’s cause that’s how I spell it. As for the kids, they were best buddies when they were real little, but hadn’t seen each other for many years after the respective parents moved to other cities.

The way things are going, those pigs may end up dying of old age.

Good Lord, Hudbone, give me a little slack. You are as critical as my wife. She wants pig meat. I want the polka dotted one for the freezer.

Shot one last night, at 7:55. Big boar. He was under the Hog Light. I let him have it, expecting him to drop, but he didn’t. Not wanting to track a possibly wounded boar at night, I waited till this morning. He hadn’t gone far. Weighed 180, though he sure looked bigger than that.

This hog and the one a couple of days ago didn’t bleed a drop.

He only went 10 steps from bullet impact point. He just went into heavy brush, where I was not gonna go in the dark.

I woulda provided at least one photo.

So far I’ve only shot a few, but I’ve trapping them regularly. This batch that’s been coming around must be dumber than last years crowd. Got 3 this morning. I kept one and gave 2 to the neighbor. He’s happy, I’m happy, and the wife is happy. Pigs….less so…

Just got another one. Easy shot. Big boar with significant cutters. I’m tired, so he won’t make the freezer. Taking tomorrow off…probably.
