I'm about to start making it. It's not that difficult to make.

There was a barrel for sale the other day on here. Wouldn't mine having one because its odd and different. But have heard that fast twist will destroy a regular bullet.

Edit: Looked it up. Made from 6.5 Creedmoor case, so my original post made no sense.

^^ Nope. The brass making process from 6.5 CM alone is VERY labor intensive. $.70+ a piece on just the 6.5 CM brass alone. Multiple dies needed to neck up and size. It's not $10 plus a round, but it's certainly more than $1 a round.

.350 Legend is vastly cheaper as far factory ammo, chambered in several different rifles with several different operating systems from several different major manufacturers. Is 8.6 Blackout going to be that much better to justify the cost?

I don't get the 8.6 blackout unless you are going subsonic. The 338 Federal already exists for the AR10 platform and it's just necking up 308 brass.
