There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Thanks Ray. Is he good with backs? Mine went out and can only drive for 20 minutes or less until I have to pull over and stretch it out.

I would not see a chiropractor, I would see a real back Dr. Last time a saw a chiropractor he tried to "crack" my back, I got up like "WTF are you doing"? I walked right out of there... I have been dealing with back issues for 40 years, my comments:

1) People always say "my back went out, I just coughed" or "was just tying my shoe". Really what it was, could have been a couple days before this, you stressed/traumatized your back lifting something or doing something else. You are doing something, or have done something, that has stressed or is stressing your back.

2) You need to learn to not stress your back, and need to know you backs limitations, no one will know your back better than you when you figure all this out.

3) You needs to stretch daily and exercise to build the muscles in your back. You need to figure out was exercises work best for you, for me it is push ups, excellent for your back. When I get lazy doing my stretches and exercise, that is when my back starts hurting. Well, hurts more than normal, hurts all the time lol.

I have been going to Texas Back Institute for years, and highly recommend them. This is my Dr, been my Dr for years, he was the one that taught me #1 & #2 above..

I'm not a fan of chiropractors. My uncle went to a chiropractor for low back/hip pain for several months. When he finally went to a real doctor he had bone cancer and died a year later. You would think a chiropractor would know the difference.

Chiros have their place. Best used prior as a preventative or before things get too bad and not after you are in a bad position.

Yes he is, we see him every two weeks.
If you come drive down Walnut to County line, lots of construction on CL.

Last time I went to a chiropractor, he put me in the emergency room. Took a deep tissue massage person to ‘unlock’ the back muscles. I was in agony for a long time till the family intervention trip to that deep tissue woman. Hurt like heck, but was the best thing ever. I need to find another one (mine retired) because I’m aching all over due to the ATV carb rebuild and install yesterday.

At the same time find a Chinese acupuncturist --------- you'll be shocked at how much it helps.

Been to tons of chiropractors. I quit wasting my money and time and went to Arrosti. Now I go get fixed at arrosti instead of scammed at the Chiropractor. Try Arrosti!!

Yep, Sean Tipton the creator of Airrosti is a Chiropractor.
I have been going to the same chiropractor for over 25 years and I have seen him send several people straight to the ER after the pre-screening. They also have a licensed massage therapist on staff for the soft tissue issues that don't need chiropractic treatment.

Airrosti is the bomb if you want to be fixed. Their stated goal is three visits and your sent home with proper stretches. It amazing what they can do.

There is an Airrosti location in San Marcos. I used them for plantar fasciitis, it was 3 trips. And it was not for the faint hearted, but it worked. During my second treatment for a knee issue I told them it wasn’t feeling better. Was told it probably meniscus issue, I should go get x ray and MRI. It was meniscus tear, along with cartilage wear and arthritis. Next appointment was with orthopedic Dr.

See a real doctor. Had back issues a few years ago and thought chiros were the way to go but listened to coworkers horror stories. Went to a real doctor then specialist then physical therapist.
