The F150 EV definitely looks a lot better than the Rivian

That’s not a truck either. That’s a lowes gardening truck or Uber for NY’ers wearing cowboy hats

but it looks far better than the rivian.

Don’t disagree, it actually has a 5.5’ bed too. So it’s 1/4 truck

20/20 amigo. The Ford is boring...and is lame in the HP rating. Found On Road Dead.

I have a 2022 C8 Corvette too...goes pretty fast. Pretty sure it would smoke that Ford (too heavy).

What nobody really talks about with these EV's is maintenance!
Seems everyone just talks about charging it, and driving and then repeat.
All of those moving parts need to be lubed, and how often does it need to be serviced, and who is qualified to service it?...The dealer only?
And how often?
What will the life of the battery be? Winter driving? I've read the battery loses up to 40%.
I'm sure it's not going to be cheap to service these dogs, and the cost isn't just isn't going to be the electric bill and driving one is probably going to cost an arm and a leg!
Nope, they will have to confiscate my old truck while I'm handcuffed and kicking!
Buy the pickup so you can haul around your backup generator and gas cans!

My BIL has already put a new motor in his tesla $$$, now he's looking at a new battery $$$$ over 12k.... miles per charge is dropping he will need one soon.

He paid 70k 7-8 years ago, now add the motor, and battery.... not mention yearly maintenance, and $1600 a year for tires.....I dont see it being worth it.

There is a severe shortage of mechanics qualified to work on them.

I just saw one on the way back from the driving range. I know what it looks like. It looks like an old school Subaru Brat just a little bigger....

Bought this for my wife for $14k brand new. No way a $60k electric car makes sense.
