LINKUnconfirmed reports coming from China have revealed shocking information regarding the South Asian country’s President Xi Jinping. Though the Chinese media has not confirmed the rumours, tweets by Chinese handles suggest that President Xi Jinping has been put under house arrest by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The development comes a day after Bloomberg reported that a Chinese court sentenced a former top security official to life in prison, completing a crackdown on the “political clique” he led against Xi Jinping just weeks before a crucial Communist Party reshuffle.
