The fact that it occurred on train tracks, makes me wonder if there is a way to get this case into Federal Court, where there are no damage caps.

for every stereotype there's a prototype

The suspect, Yareni Rios-Gonzalez, 20, was transposed to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.

Wow I thought she was going to be minced meat and done.

“She sustained a head injury, broken arm, fractured sternum, nine broken ribs, broken teeth and injuries to her back and legs, Wilkinson said. She is conscious, able to speak and has been able to stand briefly. Her recovery will be long, Wilkinson said, but medical staff is hopeful she can leave the hospital sometime next week when she regains more mobility.”

350,000 limit in that state. Not much to salivate over.

Looks like the injury attorney is going for something beyond a vehicular accident. Like complete disregard for the safety of someone in custody of the state. I’ll bet all parties wish they could go back and do things differently. It will be interesting to follow.

That’s not an auto accident so those caps won’t have any effect on the case. She’ll be a rich woman when the dust settles and the cops unemployed as it should be.

You know, they are probably not "bad" cops...just stupid as f'k! Every one of them. Especially the dumb azz standing there with his AR..."what do I do"...??? I bet he's used as a training example video for future po po.
