Would love to sit down and have a few listening to this type of Jazz live. Anybody here ever go to a blues, jazz or other bar/night club that touches your soul with these type of tunes?

You bet. All kinds of music, all the time. Saw John Hiatt last night. current hang out for jazz is Scat Jazz Lounge in cowtown....always fun.
