I am looking to book a corporate hunt with a potential client. I need a top notch outfitter on the coast. I would prefer a good lodge too but nor necessary. People seem to have really good websites. I would like some first hand experience from guys who have tried different places. I am not sure the guides I have gone with quite fit the bill i want. Photos are a plus. Thanks in advance guys.

Jake Huddleston does a great job in the POC/Seadrift/Port Lavaca area. I have been using him for clients hunts for 10plus years.

A couple vendors have taken us to bay flats lodge for fishing. I am doing a dove hunt and fishing trip there this Monday/Tuesday actually. First class lodging, food, and guides. Nothing is ever a guarantee but we caught fish. Will report back with how the dove hunting goes.

I don't run commercial duck hunts, but I do run fly fishing trips on the coast out of Matagorda. If you need help on the fishing end, let me know!

Run N Gun is a good one for entertaining as well as blast/cast. Many outfitters of their size would have tons of bad PR and the guys seem to run a really good outfit with happy customers.

Brandon Kendrick is your man. He is a hard hitting duck hunter, spares no time is scouting birds, a killer in my book. I hired him to take my stepson and his college buddies fishing. All I asked him to do was a meat haul. I was drinking coffee on the back patio of my place in POC. He came rolling back in at 8:30 AM. I asked if they had boat trouble and then I saw the ice chest standing open and the redfish tails sticking up. They all caught their three slot fish, their tagged oversize red and their extra mulligan over size tag for a second oversize red. Sixty pound of fillets! If I hire someone, Brandon is the one I hire.
