Big hole. Hope you get the rain needed to fill her up this winter.

Man that'll be beautiful when it fills!
How big is it and how deep to the spillway?
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Interested in knowing if it will hold. Clay or bentonite in the bottom?

I had guys on the ranch for a month with loader and dozer. I cleaned out 8 ponds from 1/2 acre to 2 acres. Now if it'll ever rain.

any clay? The new tank is fed from overflow of this tank as well as additional runoff. The location of the new tank is in red. Both have clay bottoms. My main reason for building it is to be able to pump water out of it into my original tank during a severe drought to avoid losing my bass and having to start over. The original tank pictured above is about 5.5 acres when full. Right now it’s less than an acre in size.
