Was headed to Freer on Thursday and got derailed. Up Friday at 0400 to load the coach and the brand new generator was a no start. 45 minutes in, pulled the bladed fuse, stuck it back in and we got her fired up. Headed out and lost power 20 miles in. Here we go, I knew I was in for it. Headed back home, dropped the trailer, hooked onto the truck and headed for freer x2. Got to Victoria and my dash was shaking so bad I had to stop in Beeville. A trailer tire had a bubble. If you're near Beeville and need a tire, Tio's tires is the place. I told Tio I am not playing with this crap, chunk me a new set on. 30 minutes in and out!!! Got to Freer and we went to whackin the doves. We had a fine weekend of shooting birds. After the morning hunts we went arrowhead hunting. We found a new camp we never even knew about. We found a half dozen others but this is the pic I got. The flat stone is a Manos or grinding stone. Sooooo the weekend wasn't about to end that easy. I haven't lost a set of keys in 30 years Well that streak is over. Had to go home, get the keys, drive back to Freer, load up and go back home. Long day, took Monday off!

My cousin took a group back to the same ranch. I talked to him last night and they are still smacking the dove birds.
