Where is the best or cheapest place to purchase a Savage 12 short action for a 6br rifle build?

Where is the best or cheapest place to purchase a Savage 12 short action for a 6br rifle build? maybe you should check with folks at that "super squirrel secret" gun range you hinted to in the other thread. we can't be giving up all of our good gun suppliers to just anyone you know! 
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Getting one second handed never occurred to me in that pea brain of mine. If I had my druthers, a right bolt, left eject would be the cat’s meow but this ole boy ain’t too picky. I’m also looking for a beater rifle with a 223 bolt face to turn into a 7mm tcu caliber. I’ve been shooting the caliber for years in my Thompson Contender. 7mm pills in 223 brass just drill holes for some reason and the load doesn’t really matter much.
