Talked to Virgil Moore yesterday about about a run one of my dogs had. Toady (Brighter Days) had two good finds on released coveys and then a run in with a backing dummy. All went well so check cording her back to the trailer she wheeled on to point with a 14-15 bird covey of birds not more than four weeks old. This in a pasture he uses that has had very few birds for years. So on to the trailer she does it again and he flushes a hen pheasant. Hadn’t seen one there for 10 years. So hope for a late hatch is still alive.

Here is the gal that had the run. She will be a first year shooting this fall and excited about her.
