We hunted near these weeds this weekend, Karnes County. They were growing on the edge of a pond that was low. So good dirt and water. Many of them were 8ft tall, some made 10ft. Stalks were about 1” Anyone know what they are? ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/09/full-42624-363014-42c9d169_50b5_410f_8556_a9e627fd00a6.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/09/full-42624-363015-1e0b63b7_b7c3_481e_8909_c985d553a969.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/09/full-42624-363016-0bd8bb01_f4f9_4db1_8034_52e4180681c8.jpeg)

I originally said young mimosa, but upon closer look, the stem would look like tree bark instead of a green stalk.

That stuff is so tall that it looked like young trees. It made great cover for teal hunting.

Load the app "Picture This" on your phone. If you have a signal it will identify what it is.
