We didn't have any in our part of Coryell county in 2020 or 2021. Sure hoping for some this year.

Harrison County and they have been dropping for 3 weeks now. Pretty good crop considering the drought we had, the good spring rains must have set the ground water up pretty good.

In our part of Mason/Menard counties acorns are scarce and small.

Freestone County, some on trees but not what I'd consider great. Kaufman county, same, maybe less on trees than the property in Freestone.

Dropping in Llano and Burnet counties. Not alot but enough to get the deer under a tree.

You anywhere around Dekalb? My mommas people are from there. Grew up hunting those oak patches. Huge bodied deer in that area.

Here in NW Coleman County, the acorn crop seems to be a complete loss (and that's no surprise given the depth of this drought). I haven't seen anything making, from live oak to post oak to Spanish oak to blackjack.

Worse than that, I've got a number of badly stressed post oaks that I fear won't survive...they look far worse than they did in 2011. Some of my live oak mottes look like it's March.

It's bad.

Was around lake whitney yesterday and saw some small ones on the ground. The deer on my cameras are super skinny.

In the Lake Ray Hubbard area some of the Red Oaks are starting to drop. The Live Oaks still have a ways to go though.

dropping like crazy around my yard west of Georgetown, they appear to be little bitty compared to previous years. This seems very early for them to start dropping.
