Prodiamine 65 wdg. I spray 0.41oz per 1000 now and February. It still needs to be watered in after application. I add Gallery to the Feb app to help with spring/summer broadleafs. Yo can add gallery to the fall app to. But it’s cheaper for me to do an application of a post app 3 way to kill any winter broadleafs. Speed zone red label is my go to 3 way. It’s good stuff. But you pretty much only want to use that in winter. A lot of stuff you spray actually comes in a granular that you dissolve in water.

Thanks, I’ll have more questions soon I’m sure. I have to get these weeds under control ASAP.

Note to Self: Never place herbicides on bumper of truck then go get gas for mower.

Placed my Propiconazole (32 oz.) on my bumper and forgot to put it back up after reading the label. I went to my shop yesterday to spray an area in my lawn that might have some type of fungus or disease. Looked for the Propiconazole that I had a few days prior, and it had vanished into thin air. I looked until I finally gave up and decided that I must have placed it on my bumper after reading the instructions. bang bang Luckily, it was only 1/2 full. I went ahead and ordered a gallon since it was half price of the smaller size.

I’m about to put some Sedgehammer out, what’s a good broad leaf I can add to it? Is Celsius WG any good if I can find it or is thr a better one?

Celsius ain't the best for broads. Depending on what broads you're targeting. MSM is my go to in summer for broads. If you have live or red oak trees I would be very care using it and keep it away from the root zone or not use it at all. If you can wait a couple weeks and it cools off a little you can go with Speedzone. Don't us it over 85deg. If you go with MSM you will need a good gram scale to weigh out what you need. Speedzone is a liquid. I like to convert liquid oz to milliliters and use cheap syringes from tractor supply so I can measure the exact amount. When you start using more professional herbicides and not box store stuff you have to be dead nuts on your measurements. These aren't chemicals you can just glug or eyeball it.

Your up front cost for herbicides is going to be pricy. But pretty much everything is a multi year supply. After you use up the Sedgehammer look at a product called Certainty. Overall better product than Hammer and cost per app is a fraction compared to hammer.

Spotted spurge is the main one I’m after, once they dug the yard up for the sprinkler system they dug me up nightmare but I’m starting war this weekend…

I’ve got the tools to measure everything out precisely so that’s not a concern, the right chemical for the job is what I’m clueless about.

MSM with a non ionic surfactant will smoke it. So will speedzone. Looking at the next 10 days temps. MSM would be my go to at 0.3 grams per 1000. If you've got some grassy weeds to Celsius and MSM would be a good tank mix.

Lol. Have you noticed much discoloration after a Prop app? It's a pretty decent growth regulator. Prop and bermuda don't get along real well and hear from people about the discoloration after using it. With it's growth reg I've decided to not use it since I'm using a separate growth regulator. I have Azoxy, Eagle 20 and Cleary 3336 in my rotation. Just wondering what your Prop results have been like.

I haven`t used any since I had an issue in late August of last year. I thought I might have had Dollar Spot or Bermuda Mites. I was applying Propiconazole, Abamectin and DELTAGUARD GRANULES. Lawn wasn`t looking all that great with whatever the issue was and finally said "screw it" at the end of September. A freeze was just down the road, and I was tired of pi$$ing away money on something that winter would make disappear or at least not be noticeable. I have not had any issues with the problem from last year, so I don`t know what it actually was. Now I have a few spots that I though was heat related a few months ago but think it may be some kind of fungus. I applied some DiseaseEX that I had on my back lawn and I`m going to use the Propiconazole on my front lawn and see which shows better results.

Also.....I really didn`t want to buy a gallon of the Propiconazole, but if you use over 32 oz., you're going to spend that much on 2- 32 oz, bottles. It was a no brainer. I am an educated consumer. chicken

Great price on Disease EX right now. Click on the coupon box and get an additional $4.00. Will make it about $10.00 a bag. It won't let you do multiple bags and use the coupon so just do individual orders.

Had probably next to the last mow on Sunday. Haven't done anything to it besides mow since Sept 24th. Recent rains and warmer temps have it still going. I hate the cold but I'm ready for a freeze so it will checkout for the year. I'm ready to hang it up for the year.

I cut it low to make less work during the Spring scalp. Well, it's not really less work, I'm simply splitting it up.

Like Mickey said. I wouldn't get any higher I keep mine at the same height. About 3/4" or so. I didn't plan on going over 1/2"-5/8" this year but got behind with those heavy August rains.

Looks like large patch. or TARR. Both are pretty common in the fall. Go with Scotts disease ex and Bio Advance fungus control for lawns. Do both at the curative rate which will be 1 bag of Scotts per 2500sq feet and one bottle of Bio per 2500sq feet. Get the Scotts down this weekend as it needs to be watered in well and there is a high chance of wide spread rain on Monday. I would get the Scotts down the go right over the top of it with the hose end Bio, Try and make a note for next year to get both those down in September as a preventative.

I like your cut height on the Aug. Not insanely high. You could probably go up a notch if you wanted, but I like that look. What was your program this year? What all did you apply and when?
