I'll throw a different one into the mix. One of my favorite. A Savage ML-II smokeless muzzleloader. It was a special order from the last year they were made.

Tikka 30 Nosler that Trigger Time put together for me a while back. It’s knocked down a pile of critters over the years with 215 Berger Hybrid at 2975 fps

Sig Cross in 308 Win.

I had read that they could be picky about the ammo they liked. I had been given a goodly amount of 308 factory fodder a while back so i tried 4 different types.

[Linked Image]

Turns out it likes the Norma 150 Gr. Soft Points, so I did not even have to develop a load for it.

Shortly after I shot it, I found two different outfits that had the Norma on sale for between $13 and $16 per box, so I bought 20 boxes. Being as I am a low volume shooter, that should last for quite a while.

Got lucky and blooded it on its first outing!

I love gun porn!

Blackstone arms upper 6.8spc w / a Sightmark mini wraith or Nightforce NX8 1-8 depending on the hunt.

Sako Black bear in 30-06 w/ a Leupold VX6HD 3-18

Both guns share a sandman S suppressor

Speaking of 6.8 SPC, I like to carry this ranch rifle when doing work on my property.

They didn’t make too many of these in 6.8. Have a Boyd’s maple stock on it.

One of these typically. A 6.5x57 or sometimes it wears a 7mm-08ai barrel and the other is either a 223ai or a 22 creed.

I have a Ruger Bicentennial red pad .250 Savage with a wide view Redfield that was put on it when it was purchased back then by the gentleman who gave it to me. It's one of the most accurate rifles I own.

I've posted about these before but don't think I've ever posted a picture. I would argue with anyone for hours that these represent the best damn hunting rifles ever made. These are 2 SAKO L61 Finnbear rifles with Bofors Steel barrels made in 1969 before Garcia acquired the company. Both these rifles were purchased by my Uncle who was career Army after his 2nd tour in Vietnam, he was stationed in Germany. He purchased these from the Kaiserslautern Rod & Gun Club in Kaiserslautern Germany. He paid $119.25 for the 30-06 on the right and $109.75 for the .270 on the left (I still have all paperwork for both). My Uncle hunted with the 30-06 for years but never pulled the trigger. I always thought it was because he did so too many times in Vietnam. When he passed (thanks to Agent Orange exposure), the rifle went to me. Dad hunted with the .270 and took every deer he ever shot with it. When he stopped hunting my oldest son and I have continued taking it into the field every year. It's accounted for more deer and hogs than you can imagine. My Dad is gone now too - but both these rifles still go into the field every season and do their duty over and over and over. When I'm gone I have 2 grown sons, one for each SAKO.

When I first started collecting rifles, Sako's were my first love.

In 35 years of collecting i've encountered one that was not accurate.

Depends on what I'm shooting at and where. My favorites are a Legendary Arms Works in 6.5 CM, pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .257 Roberts, Remington 700 Ti in 7mm-08, and a 1966 Sako L61R in 264 Win Mag. They all get the job done and each with a little style too.
