Set this up recently for use with an Arca-Swiss QR adapter. Sig Cross, 308 Win, tripod w/ 3way ball head, Nomad 30 Suppressor and Bering Optics Super Yoter. Took a while to put it all together, but I do luv it when a plan comes together. ya! GWB

I'll throw a different one into the mix. One of my favorite. A Savage ML-II smokeless muzzleloader. It was a special order from the last year they were made.

GeeDub, is that a QFix or SIG Cross? Very nice whichever Sig Cross in 308 Win. I had read that they could be picky about the ammo they liked. I had been given a goodly amount of 308 factory fodder a while back so i tried 4 different types. Turns out it likes the Norma 150 Gr. Soft Points, so I did not even have to develop a load for it. Shortly after I shot it, I found two different outfits that had the Norma on sale for between $13 and $16 per box, so I bought 20 boxes. Being as I am a low volume shooter, that should last for quite a while. Got lucky and blooded it on its first outing! ya! GWB

Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Speaking of 6.8 SPC, I like to carry this ranch rifle when doing work on my property. They didn’t make too many of these in 6.8. Have a Boyd’s maple stock on it.

One of these typically. A 6.5x57 or sometimes it wears a 7mm-08ai barrel and the other is either a 223ai or a 22 creed.

If not the 22-250, .240 or .257 Weatherby, I lean more to the .240
But my unicorn is the Ruger red pad 220 swift and ill add a wide view Redfield to keep it real
And I had one bought for asking last year, seller got cold feet for some reason...Thats my unicorn and if I ever get it ill be buried with it...has to be clean I have a Ruger Bicentennial red pad .250 Savage with a wide view Redfield that was put on it when it was purchased back then by the gentleman who gave it to me. It's one of the most accurate rifles I own.

I've posted about these before but don't think I've ever posted a picture. I would argue with anyone for hours that these represent the best damn hunting rifles ever made. These are 2 SAKO L61 Finnbear rifles with Bofors Steel barrels made in 1969 before Garcia acquired the company. Both these rifles were purchased by my Uncle who was career Army after his 2nd tour in Vietnam, he was stationed in Germany. He purchased these from the Kaiserslautern Rod & Gun Club in Kaiserslautern Germany. He paid $119.25 for the 30-06 on the right and $109.75 for the .270 on the left (I still have all paperwork for both). My Uncle hunted with the 30-06 for years but never pulled the trigger. I always thought it was because he did so too many times in Vietnam. When he passed (thanks to Agent Orange exposure), the rifle went to me. Dad hunted with the .270 and took every deer he ever shot with it. When he stopped hunting my oldest son and I have continued taking it into the field every year. It's accounted for more deer and hogs than you can imagine. My Dad is gone now too - but both these rifles still go into the field every season and do their duty over and over and over. When I'm gone I have 2 grown sons, one for each SAKO.

Dee, what cheek rests are these on your rifles? They look really handy and comfortable. One of these typically. A 6.5x57 or sometimes it wears a 7mm-08ai barrel and the other is either a 223ai or a 22 creed.
