With the recent rains they have gotten bad, which machines/devices are best indoor and outdoor to get rid of those nasty boogers?

Spartan mosquito killers we've had good luck with them. Some people do and some people don't/.

I have used the Spartans before and it is hard to tell if they were doing any good?

Not looking to Napalm the whole area, leaning towards one of those small machine type with the lights that suck them in to control them around our sitting area both inside and out.
I have a Flowtron Zapper sitting in the garage, the excitement/entertainment value of watching it blow bugs up has kind of worn off grin

After having several of them I’m of the opinion that none of them make any appreciable dent in the population. I buy off family care spray by the case at a huge discount and it seems to be the best money spent for them.

We had one of those lanterns with a fan that sucks them in. Kept them away if you stayed in one spot. A thermacell lantern works just as well for that purpose. If you want area prevention you'll want to install a mysting system. They are very effective.

I fight the little Devils multiple ways around our pool/patio.
I use a hose end Cutter mosquito killer spray
Right before events I use a propane fogger around the perimeter
I have a DynaTrap and use the packets of Atrakta pads added
Thermacel lanterns in a couple spots
No pest strips around entry ways

We still get bites.

I will say that since adding the Atrakta pads to the Dyna traps we get a lot more dead mosquitoes in it, not just moths.

Went hog hunting Friday and they ate me alive while I was walking to and from my blind. They were HUGE.

Inside mosquito machine

I bought one of these about a year ago.

We use it inside and it works. It keeps the mosquito population down inside.

Outside, it would not make a dent.

I use Demon Max in a hose end sprayer and I control the outside mosquitos very well.

Spartan Mosquito has a class action suit files on them for fraud. Personally I never noticed a difference with them and stopped using them.
https://colinpurrington.com/2020/05/class-action-suit-over-spartan-mosquito-eradicators/

However, somebody on here pointed me to a spray called Talstar P. It was pretty cheap, around $60 a gallon and you only use a few ounces at a time. In my yard, which is full of shrubs that provide shade for them, it has been a game changer. On my second summer with it and it has worked far better than anything I've ever used. You only have to spray a couple times a summer, too, so that gallon will last another season or two.

Busted a move and got a 1 acre Dynatrap, it's a big Sumbeetch. Got it plugged in now on the patio to get rid of them first and will move out into the yard later.

Talstar is just Bifenthrin. I used it last two year with great results….

This year not so much, they may have built up a resistance…

Chlordane was only slightly carcinogenic.

You want to see mosquitos? Come to my house near the marsh one evening. Bring #8 shot in a 20 gauge. They are mean and those tiger skeeters don't stop, and they're big lol.

I spray, and spray, and cough and spray, they just keep coming.

Ever seen that movie dusk till dawn? Imagine that every time someone says "Lord please send the rain". clap bang

I will take an inland brown mosquito any day. A swarm of big tiger's can ruin your day. I deal with them every day and buy spray by the case.

I've been stuck fishing at dusk with no spray and had to walk many miles for help. I carried mosquito spray on my hip long before I carried a pistol.
