I have both seasoned and greens trees that need to go. Trees are located near Fairfield Tx. Bring your chain saw and cut all you want.

Thats generous to let people come out. If i didnt already have three standing dead, i would take you up on that. Most years I am looking for somewhere to cut for personal use, bought a new house with standing dead post oak this year.

Yes sir Ktexas14. I'm 69 years old and have cut and split 2 cords for myself. I've burnt two trees this week already. I plan on burning more if no one speaks up. A cord of wood goes for around $200. I have enough trees to make someone a lot of money.

Sad your offering free wood, and all they have to do is work for it. People will be begging for wood if we get another Snowmegdon. Great of you to offer this up. I have plenty to cut at home. We just had a red oak taken down that was hit by lightening last year. I have plenty of work myself. Good luck

Great gesture but I think your problem stems from so many oaks dying in the last few year all across the state. In the past I’ve had guys waiting for free wood but now I’m having to burn or mulch all of it, it seems everyone has dead trees offering free wood and not many takers these days. When the firewood guys have all they want and not interested you know the markets heavily saturated, hopefully someone takes you up on it soon though.

I agree Ol Thumper. We have a bunch on the farm that are dying, and not enough time to cut them. The one we just took down was hit by lightening and near Moms house so it had to come down. We will get close to 2 cords out of it or more. We had already cut one up from my nephews the was blown down by spring storms. We filled all the wood racks with it, and now we have the latest to cut up. Oh well life on the farm continues.

I’m also ‘over wooded’ with full firewood racks and dead trees still to cut up. I hate to just burn the excess up in a big stack, so I’ll see if I can find places for more firewood. Nobody has ever responded to my offers, in the past, to take some firewood. I suppose if I cut to size and split it, they might drive over to let me load it in their truck. Actually, if they were blond or red headed gals with major hotness, I might load some for them (if the wife wasn’t looking).
