I'd like suggestions to suppress 223 Rem (rifle) down to 22 LR (pistol) for target shooting in a single device.

Thanks.

I recommend you get a user-serviceable rimfire can AND a 5.56 can.

Rimfire is dirty, caking your baffles with carbon and lead particles, and most 5.56 cans are not user-serviceable.

22LR will get insanely dirty; you'll want a 5.56 or larger suppressor that is serviceable (can take apart).

This. A 22 suppressor can be had for pretty cheap, I paid $99 plus stamp for one of mine.
I recommend a dedicated 22lr can and a 30 caliber rifle can. I like YHM.

Silencerco will likely do buy one get one free on black friday. 22 can is the freebie for the cheaper centerfire cans. Use anyone but Capitol Armory

That’s a great point. I missed that opportunity but oddly enough run their stuff. Spectre for rimfire and Omega 30 for all my rifle needs from .223 - .308. Which includes 7.62x39, .300 blk and 30/30.

^^^ This right hear is the correct answer. I can’t post videos but maybe Bullfrog can. The Spectre 2 is awful quiet on a 22 pistol.

I got the SWR Spectre back in 2009 or so. It is awesome on a 22 pistol. That was the reason I actually bought it. I imagine the Spectre 2 is only better. I thought about upgrading mine but I always just used that money to fund another tax stamp smile ani

I wanted one to accomplish the same thing, ended up going with a Griffin Armament Optimus Micro.
