I think student tickets are a $200 (Student Big Package) for all home games all sports. At least this is what I was told by a buddy of mine that has a kid currently enrolled. Her seats are something like 20 yard line, lower level, very close to the field. This is what CDC did. He moved the Visiting bands to the upper levels so that the students could get the gameday experience. Students have first come first serve general admission on the lower level, damn good seats that if they were on the Westside of the field would run around 4k a ticket.. when the game starts, you won't be thinking about Alabama's band.

As I understand it Alabama could of given all 500 tickets to the band, and ask for more tickets to consign. Why wouldn't they do that? The 500 were upper deck. They weren’t gonna put the band up there. That’s poverty to put a band up there. I’m glad they rejected that offer. The whole thing is stupid.

The only time I think it might be prudent is winning a Natty. Other then that what does a regular season win matter....
I like how the baseball team does it. They only Dogpile when they win a Natty.

Thought student tickets were 10 dollar face value. I would assume the first 500 would be student priced tickets.
Either way, it’s not about the money, for either school.
I just feel for the band members, who miss out on a good out of conference venue for them. Especially since game day will be there. They work hard too. Exactly $600k is chump change compared to what each school makes off of 1 friggin ball game. lmao

What it comes down to is that SEC schools are used to the way the sec does it, and doesn't like the big 12 way. Who remembers coach O lying about the locker rooms not having AC.  Huh Imagine that So why then is UT & OK on their way to the SEC? Just to get their asses kicked even more regularly?

I guess it depends if you want to go at it with the best. I am surprised TU is willing to forego the fodder which has inflated their win totals. Maybe they will find the way to schedule Vandy multiple times.
