I have a camper trailer that has been at the deer lease for about 10 years now. I got on a different lease and need some work done on the trailer. Do I have to pay for 10 years worth of tags to be able to transport the trailer to get it worked on so that the tags will be current?

If it hasn't been on the road you don't have to pay the back charges on registration.

They will ask you if it's been on the road or if you've gotten a ticket, just answer no.

You may have to get it inspected unless something changed recently.

To be determined

If it's less than 8000 lbs no inspection is required.

If you have a utility trailer use the tag from it. That is what I plan to do if I need to move mine. After 10 years plan on some tires unless you are moving a very short distance.

I just took the back / out of the way roads to my lease in Priddy and quit registering mine just to pull it to and from deer lease the last 5 or 6 years I owned mine. I live dangerously. Screw`em.

I did have a Dublin cop that was going to pull behind me one time and maybe catch me. I just turned in front of him to the street he was on and he kept going. I made a block, and I was back on my way. chicken bolt

Get it road worthy and roll it. Do not be a degenerate though.

Check the tires, put a tag of some type on it and take off. If you need to borrow a tag shoot me a pm. If all else fails check the tires and hire a wrecker company to haul it to its new location since their legally allowed to haul pretty much whatever’s behind thr trucks.

Just check the tires, get plenty of spares, hook it and go. The 1 day tag is an option but doesn't work on salvage title trailers.
