I was gifted a used Tenpoint Technologies Carbon Nitro RDX Crossbow Package, and I am trying to see what it might be worth. Being brand new to the bow hunting world I’m really unsure. What I know is that it is a 6 year old model, brand new it was $1800, and as is it will need some basic service like new string etc. Looks to be on pretty good shape otherwise. I’d like to see what the bow hunting/crossbow experts think it may be worth as is without seeing it? My goal is to possibly sell it, and use that to pick up a solid entry level compound bow set up.
I would restring that bad boy and hunt away with it. Ten point is one of the best in the xbow business, that should be a solid bow for many more years.
6 year old tech on that thing will be way better than anything you could buy with the sale of it. Should still be shooting in the 300+ fps range easily and the scope, draw cord, etc, make that an easy to use bow.
@Texas buckeye, Some context here. I was also gifted the Tenpoint Havoc RS440 which I am planning on keeping. I don't need both, so figured I sell the older and pick up the compound bow to round out my archery set up.
They still sell that same bow under the Wicked Ridge name. New, it's about $800-900 these days. Yours has an upgraded scope from the current package. Given that it's used and needs a little work, I'd say the value is probably $500-600, maybe a little more to the right buyer. Have you talked to any bow shops about a trade?
Great info @QuitShootinYoungBucks! I have not discussed any trades yet. I was hoping to get some independent info to see what I was working with first.

Gotcha! That makes sense. The havoc 440 is a awesome xbow.
I have a many year old ten point fx4, shoots lights out for what I need it for (I am not taking 70 yard shots) and has dropped every deer I have shot with it. They make good stuff.
