Probably right but remember one thing - tyrants never relinquish power. Ever.

Yep. I don’t ever watch TV other than some shows on the apps, but no live TV or news and ditched all social medias a couple years back. Spent more time out in the world with folks and have had a happier life Completely agree about live TV. Enjoy life much more without it. This is social media by the way, the THF. I use social media but no political BS.

Sad, but I agree. I think it would take something where our nation is actually under attack. Enough to make everyone question our future existence as a country… like if someone were able to get a nuke past our star-wars satellites and it wiped out a major populated area. Something where it was America against the world would be the only way we would/will come back together as a nation. As it is now, they’ve spent too much time dividing us into groups to make us hate one another. It will take more than people coming together in time of crisis. Exactly what you said happened 21 years ago this month. How long did that unity last?? What fundamental political changes came out of it?? We even have memorials and museums dedicated to that day. Correct. And at that time the country was more united than I’ve ever seen it. I don’t know that it will ever “stay” that way if it happens again… but it might buy us a few years.

Nobody gets along. It does not matter who is in office. If it is GOP or dem. What is going to straighten things out? A war? A natural catastrophe? A civil war? A souped up covid 19? Alien invasion? What gets things back to normal or is there never a solution? It will only get sorted out when Jesus comes back. Until then, chaos. It's all spelled out for you if you'll read it.

He said it. Media outlets (yes, all of them) pump people's brains full of hyper-sensationalized garbage and pass it along as cold, hard facts. The corporations that own these media outlets need to sell advertising. Political drama, hot takes on climate change, gender identity, and far-left/far-right extremism seem to really move people's needles, so that's what they peddle to sell their ads. People buy into the sensationalism and the results are riots, crazy militias, 'occupy' movements, etc. It's pretty sad to see people falling victim to it. I'm sure I do to a certain extent at times. Things probably aren't as bad as most people think. Or...maybe they're just as bad as they've always been. There is nothing new under the sun, as they say.

Some of this media stuff is not on TV. Internet based sources will keep feeding you more of the same crap in order to keep you engaged.

That says it all. A lot of blustering online will make you a target.
A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

Good summary of where we are up to the Biden speech. Hard argue with the extreme outlook based on how fast evil is progressing in our own backyard. Better pray the lord returns before this becomes reality.

It ends in genocide.
It's following the same communist/socialist take over playbook to the T - we are at the "divide and bastardize stage" - with the whole "maga conservatives are a threat to democracy" being blasted from every news agency, pundit, and politician on "their" side - and a deafening silence from the ones who pretend to be on "our" side.
History repeats itself over...and over.....and over. Same playbook as just about every single commie "revolution" since the beginning.
It can be stopped. But no one wants to be first.

2Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
We need to recognize and understand that the spirit of fear does not come from God. When you consider that the word in the Greek means cowardice or timidity these character traits do not describe God in any way. God is not timid, cowardly, shy, fearful, afraid, nervous or worried about anything and because you have the Spirit of God living inside of you, neither should you. God is never sitting there scratching His head wondering what to do. He knows what He is going to do about situations that haven't even happened yet. Bank it.
