Looking to see if anyone here has a good backpack that's not getting used. Looking here before I go out and buy something.

Have a hunt coming up here in the next 10 days and need something to haul some meat back with (I hope).

Located in Carrollton / Farmer's Branch but will also be heading to Houston in a couple of days.

Thx

I have one sitting around, Eberlestock backpack, used it on a Montana wilderness elk hunt, has the rifle carry in the middle of back and I have a few extra pouches that go with it. I will have to get into my storage and get some pics of it and send it if your interested. I am located in Allen.

I’ve got one.

On edit: this is not a pack you want to haul meat out with. It has no ridged frame.

Thanks Barney... for sure we are packing meat out. I'll keep this in mind. Appreciate it.

Still looking for one with a frame.

I have an external frame pack I haven't used in years. Used it on several New Mexico hunts back in the early 2000's. Probably bought it in 2000 if I remember correct. Very lightweight, packed out several quartered mule deer. Still in great shape the last time I saw it. I'd have to dig it out of my shop and shoot you a pic if you're interested. Just pm me and let me know. Thanks

PappyBear... thx. I may be interested in the trekking sticks if you still have them. Do you get down to DFW at all?
