Looking for a long-term, year-round hunting lease that is ready to hunt, includes guest privileges, and a ranch house that sleeps six? All blinds and facilities are shared by ten members and their guests. This could be perfect for corporate entertainment.
I have a few memberships available on the 4600-acre La Purisima Ranch near San Ygnacio in Zapata County Texas in prime south Texas brush country. The ranch is high-fenced and has been managed since 2008 in the TPWD Managed Lands Deer Program (MLDP) – deer season is 1 October through 28 February. Protein is fed for 7 months from 10 locations (pellet feeders and cottonseed), and corn is fed for 5 months from 28 feeder pens. There are 14 double blinds, 2 single blinds, and 1 tripod.
A ranch hand performs feeder filling and ranch upkeep. No driving to the ranch to work in South Texas heat! The lease includes year-round access for hunting and fishing. There are lots of dove, quail, hogs, and varmints. There are also lots of ducks on tanks and large lakes.
All ten members share costs and facilities. Members and guests have exclusive use of a modest ranch house with six bunks and a very nice, covered patio. The deer camp has a deer processing area with an electric winch, sink, ice maker, and large walk-in cooler. There is also a large, covered area with a big BBQ pit, pellet smoker and fire pit. 2 covered RV spots are available.
I pay $15 per acre for the lease, and main expenses are protein, corn, and labor. Please email me if you are interested. lapurisimaranchtx@gmail.com
4600 acres at $15/acre is $69,000, right? I know he said 10 members split costs, but he also said, “I pay $15 per acre”. Hopefully you’re right at $6900 instead of $69000…

the $15 an acre is the total cost to lease the ranch - divided by 10 hunters it is around 7K per gun
You can't fix stupid

Sounds like a very fair deal then, considering the current market. Somebody who makes more money than me should snatch that up asap.

Not saying it is right - I am saying it is what the market is -
like it or not the market in a free country consist of what people are willing to pay - may be a crazy price for some and a great price for others - IMO this listed ranch could be a good deal for someone

I agree with you. The last post wasn’t sarcasm. I would expect to pay more for a South Texas lease with all those amenities.
