I bought this Ruger American in 350 Legend a couple of weeks ago and put an old Burris scope on it and took it to my range. Shoots very well! Don’t ask me why but I really like this round. Fun to shoot. I took it hunting last night and shot this little blond pig just after dark. It dropped in its tracks with 150gr Deer Season XP.

Nice shooting. Is the 350 Legend soft shooting? I never fired one. They are pretty good game takers.

I find it to be very soft shooting.

Nice!

Fast paced gregarious society forgets the healing power of solitude. It's worked thousands of years. Casting a line/gazing into a campfire/sitting in a blind after a long week is medicine for the soul. The serenity and peacefulness of it all is majestic.

I bought one of the Ruger Americans in 450 Bushmaster about a year ago. It is very accurate, and the hogs or deer I shoot with it are DRT. Because of its light weight, it delivers some pretty stout recoil and isn't much fun to shoot. Your 350 Legend would have been a better choice, at least for me!!

I did the same Saturday night. Got the new thermal sighted in on the new .300 BO and took a pig that evening. Now just need the can to arrive.

I have a cast load I hope to hunt with this fall. The "Legend" is a fun round to shoot and very flexible to load.
