What gives you your craziest dreams. The ones you wake up from that have you shaken and saying to God, “I hope that never happens.”

After a full day of working in the heat, I had a few beers, a vodka drink, some melatonin, nasal spray, and went to bed. Woke up this morning doing a quick body parts check and when I walked into the living room I felt like I was in another world.

Not real sure what the dream was about entirely, but it was definitely strange.

Vicodin or really any hydro. Haven’t had any in years. The first time was from meningitis, the second an injury. The first time I thought it was just from being sick, when it happened again years later I swore it off. I’ll just deal with the pain. BC powder and suck for me.

Marred surface on your airstream, deck needing to be stained, too many trees, an untrimmed beard, too much foam in beer from the kegerator, smelling skunk on your dog or a stain on your apron?

Tilly hat doesn't match the apron, 5 toe shoes are weird, the movie Ted sucks, the imperfection on the 1911 grips, streaks in the lawn from the fancy mower?

Yea, I have GREAT dreams usually a couple hours before I wake up. I take a cocktail of 2 Arthritis strength Tylenol, Gabapentin (back nerve med), Clonazepam (narcotic for restless leg syndrome) and a Pantoprazole for reflux.

REALLY freeky dreams are when I'm on painkillers

Y’all know those ambien dreams aren’t dreams right?

Back in my single days I had a neighbor who would come over and visit in the evenings. Some many weeks into this she introduced herself in the daytime not having a clue who I was other than I was her new neighbor. That is really scary stuff.

Fevers do it for me. When I had Cov and woke up with a fever of 103-105, I had the weirdest most awful dreams. So much so, I didn't go back to bed in my master. Slept in the guest bedroom because I felt like there was something weird about that bed at the time. So freaking weird but those fevers messed with me big time.

I have frequent night terror dreams with no help from anything. I thought they would go away after retirement but not so much.

It takes a while. I still have memory dreams from things I’d rather not ever see again, definitely not night terrors, but they put me in a bad mood the following day.

There is a treatment that has proven very effective, REMD I believe is what the acronym is.

I’ve figured out the most important thing is to finish the dream. I might win or I might get killed in it but as long as it’s resolved before I wake up, I feel fine afterwards. Going back to sleep to finish the dream wasn’t always an option while I was working but it is now. Sleep paralysis is the worst though, especially for the first time. Luckily I haven’t done that in a few years.
