Drove down to Wal1809’s this morning and Wayne did some snake avoidance training for me. This is the pup I posted about getting bit in the cottonmouth thread. Met one of my hunting buddies with his dogs there at 7 this morning. Between the two of us we brought 3 dogs. Two of them have been snake bit in the last month.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO WAYNE.

Wayne trained my puppy last year. This year we checked her out and as soon as she heard the rattle she started screaming. He didn't even zap her. She freaked out. I will continue to check her out, but I think it stuck.

Your dogs seem to adapt to the training immediately! Thank Goodness.

It is I who owe the thanks. I started this because I was mad at a trainer for ripping me off, or so I thought anyway. It is unbelievable the places this training has taken me. The people I have met and good times would not at all be possible if it weren't for you all.

I've got a pup coming back from the trainer next weekend. Where can I get him snake breaking training this late in the year?

We all need to practice Whoa more.

I am still doing private sessions at my house until it gets cold. I have rattlers and a moccasin but no copperhead. I live near Wallis, Texas
