Shot the hog early this morning with the kid. We were heading to the gate in the Polaris to wait on the bus. Just happened to have the .308 as I’ve been watching this hog in the thermal since 6am. Nothing like hearing “nice shot dad” from the kiddo.

up Awesome. I'm sure this is something your kiddo will remember.

If you shoot a pig while waiting for the school bus........you might be a redneck.

Someone call Foxworthy.

Reminds me of my Son's first Buck. He shot it from our front porch while waiting for the school bus. I had to field dress is and bring it to school so he could see his deer between 1sh and 2nd period. you know you are not in a liberal town when all the kids and even teachers wanted to see his deer.

Yep.

When my Daughter was 14 yrs. old she shot a buck from her bedroom window early one Saturday morning. Pasture behind the house. Buck about 150 yds. out.

My Wife put a 'Nix' on shooting from the house after that....as it woke and startled her and our Dachshunds.

Again....not a terribly unusual thing here in Deep East Texas as you are also.
