What she did was certainly abhorrent, but based on the video, I just don't see how you get assault with bodily injury and terroristic threats. Simple assault, sure, maybe even a hate crime enhancement, but these charges seem excessive.
To be clear, I'm not defending her at all, I just think the punishment should fit the crime.
