Have had this pen up for over 3 years and this is the first pig and/or cow to break through. Standard hog panels, i think 12-14 in total with t-posts in the middle of each panel and where panels overlap. We were just out there a month or so a go to fill up the feeders and I walked the pen and everything was in good shape.

To make it even better, we forgot the ladder, so instead of running into town, lowered the feeders until we came back next time to fill up. I'm guessing theres no panel stopping him now that hes been on the other side, even if we repair it.

If you shoot him, he will stop getting in. They can jump hog panels like they aren't even there if they want to.

Hogs can jump over 36" high panels no problem (some even more).....its a just matter of if they want to.

Typically hogs don't like to jump obstacles much over 12" and in their day to day travels will go around something rather than over it. But they are 'capable' of clearing 36" easily.

Deer seem to prefer jumping over things (within reason), a hogs nature is to go UNDER or through it. But they can jump if need be. I've had quite a few even 'climb' out a 60" pen trap.

Im curious what you mean by "lowered the feeders".

He needs to be gone soon or that feeder is going to be on the ground.

Each feeder leg has 3 total sections/poles that fit together. Can't get back there with a pickup and didnt want to fall through the roof of my ranger w/ a mis step. So pulled off a section/pole off of each leg to lower it, so i could fill standing in the bed of the ranger

He needs to die before he starts tearing chit up

Why have you not popped him as stated by others? He will soon rip the timer off and eat 200# of corn

I had to put up 5' cattle panels to keep the neighbors Damm goats off of one of my feeders

Believe me, id be out there right now if i could. Life getting in the way
