This is the older dog. He will turn 7 this fall.

Second picture is my son quail hunting with the same dog.

This is the new one. He will be a year old Halloween. He has been looking good in training. We have some stuff planned and I am looking forward to getting him in some birds.

She keeps busy in the off-season by shed hunting.

Old Girl, miss her everyday. Been gone just over a year now. She was a goodin!

Her sons first hunt.

This is Millie, our 9 month old Boykin Spaniel.

He looks like he ought to move pretty good scalebuster.

She can cover some ground. She’s 6 now and is a bird finding machine. She’ll hold them all day too. Bonnie moved into the top dog spot last year. She’s a race horse. She’s a dog you have to grab by the collar to make her stop long enough to take a drink. Every shorthair pup we’ve gotten out of BDK kennel was like that, and easy to train.

The black Brittany lost something after the litter of pups. I think it spread her feet out. I used to not be able to run her and Bonnie together because it turned into a race. They work good together now.

My pup is still at the trainer, will be home before duck season. I gotta say though, I'm jealous as hell of the pointing dog pictures. I'd love to get in on a wild quail or pheasant hunt behind a good set of dogs.

Needed some red dog representation in this thread.
