My old boss had a firehawk and thought it hung the moon.

My brother-in-law has a 2000 T/A WS6 with about 30k miles. Fun ride.

For the premium they commanded (Firehawk vs Firebird) vs what you were getting for it, never quite got it.

That trans am wouldn’t do me any good for deer, or coyote hunting. I’ll have to pass…

Only Pontiac I ever had was garbage. Was driving north on I 45, just past the loop in Houston, when the car just died. There was an exit right there, so I took it. And there was a car place right off the service road. I still had momentum, so I rolled right into a bay. Service guy walked over and said “man, this is a quiet car. I can’t even hear the engine running”. Thank goodness it was a company car. Not my money…

I had a black one like that for a long time. Wish I would have kept it. 11 second 1/4 mile times on just naturally aspirated motor.

That WS6 is clean AF. I would buy that but my wife would kill me and I would eventually do something stupid and end up in trouble. GTO was a fun car. My dad had an 04 and they were heavy but damn nice cars.

Pontiac must have been one fine machine to get cut from the line up.

The bubble popped and automakers where sinking. The F bodies and the GTO were cool cars. The rest was crap no doubt and the Aztec was the ugliest abortion of a car they ever made.

Yea, just heard Dodge is benching the challenger and charger to focus on “EV’s” they’re idiots. America doesn’t want EV’s we want hellcats and demons. They about to lose a huge market share.

They need to call Jeep and ask how that went with their EV Jeeps roflmao It is freaking stupid no doubt. The EPA has something to do with that I think. Dodge engineers typically rip coke off a hookers [censored] and then put a demon in a Durango. I do not think those guys are going to enjoy the lifestyle change.

Kroyal, you mean to buy American instead of Infiniti? The market will only grow as they become more rare, right?

I saw that car for sale too. It will sell. That's about what it was new and the Gen 3 F-cars are holding value well if nice. I have a Pontiac friend that just picked up a Comp T/A ... the BFGoodrich version of the Firehawk (Firestone). They're more rare but his is too old to be an LS1 ... it's a '95 so it's an LT1. He had one of the modern GTOs too but unfortunately is was a 2004...the first year and the only year with a 5.7L. The '05-06 had the 6.0L. Yes, it made a pretty good difference as the GTOs were FAT pigs weight wise.

Convertible Firehawks are very rare and one with a manual is nearly impossible to find. The Firehawk stuff was installed by SLP as a conversion package kinda like the COPO stuff of the '60's (I might regret bringing that up since I have seen grossly incorrect COPO info on local forums in the last few weeks). The cars are considered factory modified. Brakes, wheels, tires, shifter (on manuals), exhaust, air intake were all modified on the Firehawk cars. I knew a guy that bought a manual shift no t-top Formula Firehawk (not Trans Am) new and it was pretty rare too.

Pass the gravy.

They are starting to bring a premium if they are low mileage and good shape. My buddy has/had one before he passed away. Wish I knew what happened to it as I’d like to have it but it would be a sentimental thing not a 40k investment.
