Just about done entering all the Lottery Hunts I can think positively about. Put in for some old favorites and gonna try some new places too now that I can walk almost normally again. Health is still a problem but every day seems to be better thanks to the good folks who manage my weekly PT Work Out sessions... Got a super Cardiologist from Mother Francis in Tyler now in the mix too, with a respected Spine Specialist in Tyler waiting for his turn around Turkey Day.

Yall' save me some shooters ya hear....I might even put in for a late season Axis Hunt back at the place I went last year. ...or the place I went 20 years ago and swore off. Just got a feeling there will be some good critters taken late in the year this season if or when the drought finally breaks after New Years too.

Please go get a Shingles Prevention Shot, if you've had Chicken Pox..... Life is too short to put up with something like this that can so easily be avoided. Going without a Shingles Prevention Shot last Spring has cost me a year of lots of $'s + pain and misery.... and has been something that I could have so easily avoided...don't be as hard headed as I am.

Got a shingles infection on my face, and next to my eye. Luckily it didn't get into the eye. Wife and I got vaccinated after that. MIL didn't, and has been suffering with it almost a year!!

I had not mowed the yard in 3-4 months, and the Better Half said she was gonna sell the brand new Husky Zero Turn riding mower if I didn't get on with it. Sooo yesterday I put some gas in it and lo & behold it started. I've got 2/3 acres for a yard with plenty of trees to get in the way....but I mowed the front yard in under an hour.....and the backyard in about 2 hours. Yes my back and right hip are super sore....but she fixed dinner and I didn't have to eat left over out of date frozen dinners. Took a couple kosher pain pills and slept like a rock....until I started down the hall to MY bathroom this morning and the blood clots in the bad hip & ankle hit me HARD ...but it's done for a week or so.

Got a spinal shot scheduled in mid next month if I don't do anything really dumb and have to start all over again. Still cannot believe how many people tell me they ain't gonna get a Shingles Shot 'cause they believe it's all a BS scam...I just smile and walk off & sometimes if I know them well enough. I'll say 'don't call me for help when it happens...
