Tupperware has its place, no doubt. I've got my share on a number of "claw hammer" rifles.

I'm curious about the rationale of drop-box heavy caliber rifles sans sights. Maybe I'm irretrievably old-school, but heavy rifles DEMAND express sights. Scopes are cool...and damned functional...but the big stuff is properly taken at ranges where irons are proper. Of course, there's only a few folks (and NONE of the majors) that understand irons any more.

Perhaps the use of sights is just a lost ability these days.

Thanks kmon!!!

And I'm drooling over that full stocked little carbine. Wonder what it's chambered for?

It’s a .375 H&H built on a GMA action w/18.5” barrel.

My pleasure to post those for TDK, I enjoy this thread. I have a few pretty nice rifles but nothing in this class, but can drool and dream.

I think I got all the pics posted

TDK, that first rifle, the single shot, what finish is that? just many coats of hand rubbed oil or a poly coating?

Mostly assumption on my part, but I’d say it’s a modified oil finish.

Posting for Aaron

“This week we are looking at French gunmaker Joel Dorleac of Dorleac & Dorleac. This rifle has the H&H style takedown system which is as one can see removes the barreled action from the stock. The action is held in at the rear tang, and takedown involves unscrewing the front action screw which is held captive in the bottom metal. The bottom metal stays in the stock. The rifle would have a dedicated fitted case to store it in its takedown configuration.”
