I love making pigs in blankets, out of Lil' Smokies and Rhodes rolls! They are delicious and freeze well, so they make great breakfast snacks with some mustard or hot sauce. Half dozen of them for 60 seconds in the microwave is perfect.

That darn kitchen mouse got into the first batch, while I was cooking the second one!!! She did say they were good tho!! smile

Since the oven was already hot, some monster cinnamon apple turnovers sounded nice. They will hold a lot of vanilla ice cream!!! smile

Been doing Lil Smokies pigs in a blanket for many many years, always used cheap biscuit dough. Those apple turnovers look to die over!

Looks good......pigs in the blanket might still be my favorite breakfast. We do them on Sundays alot. We just use canned biscuits and little smokeys. I like them dipped in strawberry jelly.

If we go out early on the boat, I pick up a bag full at Stanleys in Matagorda. Great mid-morning snack!!!
