If I can get a top 5 or so, I can do an official poll.

Right now me. Just found out we lost our 18,000 acres of pig hunting.

Dang. I used to work summers on a 4500 acre place and had a lot of latitude during down time...its been 10 years and I still miss it. Big places are hard to come by and man you miss that when you lose access.

I'm sad now. Supposed to go deep sea fishing Sunday, my last chance to hammer snapper before the season closes. Looks like the weather is going to [censored] now, rain and thunderstorms. Pretty selfish for me to complain about the rain though, I hope the areas that really need it get a bunch...or at least get something.

My father was supposed to be going out of Freeport Sunday as well, he wasn’t to happy about the weather report.

Nope. Last thunderstorm that I got caught in fishing offshore, seas went from 2-4' to 10-12' + within 5 minutes and I got puked on. I mean literally covered in vomit from head to toe, had chicken & rice in my hair/ear/mouth/neck/in my boots....everywhere. Never yell "DON'T PUKE THAT WAY THAT'S INTO THE WIND" at someone who is already puking into the wind. roflmao

Maybe I'm sharing too much with you people. grin

ME...right now. Recently diagnosed Glaucoma has me in the dumps. Damn sure don't want to have eye surgery. Wife is watching me like a hawk. Going to have to wait for her nap before I can cut the grass. I had planned to be at the lease all this week. On the plus side, I picked up my new six-shooter today.

Reminds me when I was a kid going to summer day came on lake Lewisville as a kid early 70's, they had a water melon eating contest. Well driving back to Dallas, in the hot stinking school bus, the guy next to me threw up all down my leg. His throw up was hot, I had shorts on, but it got all in my sneakers and it was long walk home from bus stop and my sneakers were squishy all the way home. roflmao

Back in the day I was a deck hand on the offshore boats out of Port A. Was a rough day in the Gulf and it only got rougher. One of the families onboard had a little girl, probably 6 or 7 years old. Parents got sick and were laying down inside. I was doing my thing running all over baiting hooks and tying on leaders when this little girl green around the gills stumbles out from inside. Caught a big swell and the bow went up high, which means when we come down she's gonna get deck slammed and possibly hurt herself. I dropped everything in my hands and grabbed her little shoulders to keep her from getting deck slammed. BAM, and water crashes over the side. I bend over and ask her if she is OK? She looks up at me with her innocent little eyes and says "Mister", then projectile vomits directly into both of the rubber boots that I was wearing. Poor baby. I didn't care about the vomit sloshing around in my boots, I just wanted to help that baby since her parents were passed out inside. Got her rinsed and dried off, tried to get some water in her, then had her take me inside and show me who her parents were and delivered her back to them. Went back out and "FISH ON!" Continued duties gaffing fish/untangling lines/tying leaders/baiting hooks/washing blood/selling concession etc.......was busy. Eventually we moved and I had time to pull my boots and socks off and wash myself. roflmao Was pretty nasty walking around with squishy puke boots but when there's fish on that is priority.
