My little guy starts PreK on the 17th. Makes me very happy to see him growing up, but damn is it going fast.

Our son just graduated from A&M Corpus and leaves school without a dime of debt all the while costing us maybe a total of $10k.....probably less.
Daughter graduated 4 years ago from A&M and paid what debt she had off in less than 2 years which was about $30k when she left there. We gave her $1k/month for the 4 years she was there and made her responsible for the rest.

We couldn't be more proud of our two kids and how they have turned out.

Boy just moved to the island 2 months ago so we are empty nesters and loving it!

My daughter passed the swim test at the pool so she can go down the big [censored] 3 story high slide.

My kid went to pre-k Wednesday. He loved it. He is getting more and more independent. I miss him needing me. I just hope I have a few more years of him being my shadow.

I’m back teaching tennis to high school kids on weekday mornings. The kids were happy to see me, and I got a few hugs. And my worn old body still works acceptably. And I got new tennis shoes.

After all the basic work on volleys and ground strokes, they usually want to play ‘hit the old guy’. As you can guess, I’m the old guy. It’s really good practice for them to hit the ball at a target. I feed from the net. In 13 years, only two of the kids have gotten to me with body shots. That said, some of the seniors don’t get a chance to hit the old guy - maybe too good for me to handle.

It all makes sense now why you’re such a handy young man. You had no choice.
