Wont be legal for deer and other big game, but might be a good option for hogs and predators.
Pretty cool looking

Pretty cool looking What makes it not legal for deer or other big game? Last time I checked, you could use thermal or NV for deer hunting, you just have to use it during legal shooting times.

Interesting product - might be affordable for the masses… You really think it will be affordable? Well I say that with certain associated conditions : 1) ordinarily a buyer is looking at paying 3 separate costs to utilize the day optic / thermal / and digital night vision . Digital and traditional night vision during the day are sort of a wash in that they do the same thing different ways so really this product is more of a 2-n-1 device but either way add the cost of a thermal scope and digital scope together and that’s what they are competing to market them at 2) given the factor above if a buyer chooses day optics with a clip on thermal some of those clip on units are over 10k just by themselves AND they are truly limited in top end magnification - a really expensive clip on may get you 6-8x mag without significant image degradation despite what your day optics magnification range is….. so If this product somehow capitalizes on “fusion” tech and can give thermal views beyond clip ons performance ceiling that could be worth a lot 3) it’s infiray outdoors - it’s Chinese product tip to tail , at the current moment they are the affordable benchmark for 384/640 systems for the masses

I stand corrected. I hunt primarily in OK and last time I hunted in TX thermal was not legal. I am pretty sure hunting with a thermal in OK for deer is illegal still. Will have to double check. Sorry about the mix up!
