About what we had at home.
Enough to put some big old spots on my dust covered Mule. lmao

Our last measureable rain was June 28 with 1.5". In the last 100+ days we've had just a tad over 3".
It looks like the middle of winter on the grass in the pastures. I have noticed in the last week some trees are starting to show some signs of dying as well.

Our last measurable rainfall was May 27th. Go 2 miles in any direction of us and they've had about what you've had. Our place is in very poor shape.

It looks like a Disney movie around our house with all the rabbits, birds, and now deer that have shown up that we're watering and feeding - and I haven't had a deer step foot on my place in the 10 years we've built the place - all pastures around me. The river bottoms are 3/4 mile away.

Damn cochise, that is bad

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I don’t know how much we got but I just walked to the shop and the ground is still squishy wet. That’s saying something around here lately.

The Ancients told my people legends of a magical substance that falls from the clouds and is 'wet'. Sadly, over the years [months] the name for this substance has been lost.

On the east side of Longview, we finally got some rain. In the past week we have had 3 different events for a total of 1.5" of sweet liquid. The whole neighborhood is starting to green up. Ponds and lakes are still low but the deer are hanging out in the back pasture eating the green stuff.

Happy for those of you who got something...as we've been since May, bone dry. There was a small storm that showed promise on radar last night, but it died out about 10 miles north of us and we got wind and some lightning, but not a drop of rain. We are desperate and have only received a tick over 1" since mid-May and less than 4" for the YTD. Forecast says we have a chance today and tomorrow, so trying to stay hopeful, but not confident.

Looking at our cameras we are FINALLY getting a good rain.

Lotta big lightning and thunder earlier, and the

Me no likey the close in lightning
Way too dangerous, although I'm
aware it can kill you seriously dead

Just was about to post that the McKinney bubble looks about to bust. In Gainesville and need to take shades off but no rain.
