I have 2 old Benjamin BB guns that were handed down from my grandfather. Neither of them work and I would assume it would be the elastomers/seals that don't build and hold air pressure anymore. These are sentimental to me and I would like to get them working again, the only seal kits I can find were on ebay and I know I need more info like years they were manufactured, etc.. Just checking with THF in the event one of y'all have already tried to fix yours?

I've re-sealed several benjamin and sheridan pump up type pellet guns and a couple crosman CO2 air guns as well.
Not too difficult if you have a little mechanical ability.
Lots of videos on Youtube for the more common models.
What are the models that you have?

Where do you live. I rebuild all the old Bennie and Sheridan pump gum. I buy my deal kits from MY airguns. Quality out ways price. I have the tools to remove the chamber nuts and seals. I was too poor to own one when I was a kid but have made up for it in last ten years. Mount a long relief scope and you can't believe how accurate they shoot. Great old guns. I have a Sheridan Silver Streak (from around 1980) that could use a rework on the seals and such. Our grandson will be in Tyler for a year, and we’ll be visiting him. Lindane looks within a reasonable distance. If you’d work on it, I’ll try to get it to you. I’d give plenty of advance warning.

I found a company in Iowa, maybe Ohio can't remember but he changed seals on a Beeman one pump .177 pellet rifle years ago. It's a German Fienwickbrau model 124 highly sought after and I have 2 of them. They shoot lights out.

I watched these guys grow from obscurity to a fairly mainstream (as far as airguns go) and you probably can’t do much better.

Also, I would never sell them. If not for the sentiment, just know I have watched the price of these vintage Benjamin’s increase like $50-$100 every couple of years. Kicking myself for not investing in them, and for all that I have bought and sold.

I live in Dallas. I appreciate all the feedback, makes me have a little more confident compared to what I was coming up with on google. The ones I have are model 3100 and 3120.

And you are right about Baker Airguns. Dennis Baker is the one who got me into doing the repairs. Great guy but is like all of us , age is catching up. He is now retired and his son is running the company. The company is more into PVP guns now and break barrels. The younger guys just don't have the love that us old farts do. If you own one, never put it up without pumping it one to three times. Pressured storage keep the seals from breaking down so fast and Pellgun oil only. Nothing kills them faster than WD 40.
