That area is beautiful. Two musts
1. Got to the Jug N Plug in Shell Knob
2. Go trout fishing out of Lilly's Landing on the White River (Branson). I got a guide for there and Tablerock if you need one.
Have fun. Keep us updated on your plan Been to the Jug n Plug many times since the late 60’s. Grandparents had a place on Table Rock up until just a few years ago when Granny passed. The chiggers are viscous up there. Apply Deet before getting off the pavement.

My great grandfather's family moved from Missouri to Texas back in the late1800`s. Never been there. Good luck.

Welcome to Missouri. That’s a great area. Also a whole lot of public access nearby to boot. Plus the best crappie fishing in the world, all over the state. Bull shoals trout… come on man! You got it made.

put a place under contract yesterday........right along Bull Shoals Lake and about 15 minutes maybe to Branson..........the little town has about 200 people and we are at the dead end of the road before the lake. 72 acres and mostly wooded. Should be some good deer.
