Purely reactive but these folks get it. Hopefully they will get good training too. AR-15s put in all Madison County schools
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I think that’s Madison County North Carolina. I know it’s not Texas, although I would like for them to take this into consideration.

I am in the program and get pretty good, intense training (Range time, Force on Force, CQB, etc.) We all carry pistols now but we had a meeting today and looks like rifles are next.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Rifle will be there for responding officers to use, not any of the school staff. All training of school staff is targeted 'no pun intended' at better responding to an active shooter situation. BUT....in some schools in some States there are programs where selected teachers (of their own volition) are allowed to carry pistols and train for self defense. I think this a GREAT idea. Sadly, many teachers today are Liberals and not of the ilk inclined to arm themselves.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!
