I just bought a new property in Arkansas and was told by the owner that he had never seen a hog. I was told by to guys who have hunted it that they have never seen a hog. This showed up second night I had a feeder out. Any guesses to what he might weigh? Thats a Buc-ees 600lb feeder in background. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-54614-356925-0.jpg)

It's amazing what some people miss on their own property. I don't know how many pounds, but he's way bigger than anything I've ever come across!

LOL, those people may never have seen a hog on the property. However, you bought the property and likely did not buy it blind. Surely as a hunter, you walked all over it already. How much rooting did you see? How many tracks did you find? How much scat did you find? Surely, you didn't think the property was without any hogs until this picture, right?
That is a big old boar, no doubt. That it is larger than the 600 lb feeder some distance behind it really doesn't help with assessing the size in any sort of accurate manner due to forced perspective.
He is big, so shoot him and get us the weight!

Looks like a decent size boar to me.
Did they have feeders out at all before you got it?

He looks very well fed so I bet other people have pictures of him at their feeders. They just aren't talking.

I have a neighbor who has been on his place since 2001. He told me that he has only seen 2 hogs the whole time he has had his place.
At the time, I had a protein feeder with no fence about 40 yards from his front gate that drew 15-20 hogs a night. Pretty oblivious

Ha...no hogs. I doubt there is a country place in the south that does not have at least some presence of hogs. I've owned my place for 7 years and saw only a very few on camera years 1 - 4. Year 5, we saw more, and Years 6 and 7, over run.
On the place we hunt in Oklahoma, we had same thing happen...no hogs, no hogs, explosion!
Anyone who says they have no hogs prob doesn't feed or have crops. Once there is available food, hogs will be there soon.

Need to call him Mr. T. That is a very large fat hog. Gee, thanks.........I know I have gained a little weight, but darn. Here he is a little closer to the feeder to show his size. I don't know if he would win a hog contest, but I think he would finish in the money. As of last night, I now have two of them, both the same size. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2022/08/full-54614-357174-ea5dac16_bfd9_45a0_94d3_e5e1e7030908.jpg)

Wow, what a great change of perspective! Your hog looks like it lost 100 lbs when you move it a bit closer to the feeder like that. First it goes from looking like a 600 lb feeder would fit inside of it and now almost vice versa.

That's a big piggie. A lot of sausage if he's edible.

If you don't kill them soon, they're gonna need an electric scooter to get around in.

Okay, so do you have a pic of both hogs together. The two pics posted so far seem to be of the same hog.
