Beauty is in the eye of the beholder….

And, though I want a new Tundra, I’m not sure if it’s actually beautiful. But it’ll do.

Looks are secondary.
I do not want a six cylinder anything.

Same here ^^^^^^. That's the reason I pulled the trigger on my '21 when I totaled my '12 last November. I could have waited a week for a '22 to come in but they had 5 of the V-8's on the lot and I just picked my color.

I think it's GMC, and it's not even a contest for me. I do like how the previous body style Tundras looked, they actually looked like a man's truck. The Ford's have looked too feminine for me since they switched to the rounder body style in 1997. The Dodge's have always been ugly, but I do like the new TRX. I thought about getting one, but I just can't get away from GMC.

You want one in red. What does it matter?

I don’t understand your question. It matters because I want a red one. Reminds me of what a coworker told me many years ago. He said to me “when it matters, it matters, but when it don’t matter, it just don’t matter”. Thinking about that statement gave me a headache for a while, but upon reflection, he was right.

Now, why does it matter….well, I have a red one now, and its name is BART (Big [censored] Red Truck), and I want BART 2, and red is my favorite color. And, any other color wouldn’t work as a useful acronym.

Told a lady coworker about BART and what it meant, and she named her suitcases LARS and BARS. little [censored] red suitcase and big [censored] red suitcase.

Down here, the other side of the river is red and we don't buy no red trucks. Never seen a good looking one.

The next bad engine Toyota builds will be the first. The problem with the news reports is that a small amount of bad news gets blown up and spread wide. I'm willing to bet there's nothing wrong design-wise with the new engine. They've been building a 3.5 V6 for years. I would buy with confidence (if I had to, these prices SUCK).

Yeah, you tell him Buzz!

Years ago I did a lot of business with DuPont. Got to know the sales guys pretty well. They said that DuPont had done a study on what sort of people like what color vehicle. It helped them sales wise to know that. What he said they found was this:

black and dark gray - power colors they called it. Which makes sense.
Red - favorite color of aggressive drivers
Yellow - bought by high energy people
White - bought by people that like order and control in their lives, like schoolteachers, Moms. Good resale.
Green and brown - bought by ‘earth mother’ types. Bad on resale.
Purple - low volume, bought by kids
Blue - sort of fits everybody. Good seller and good resale.
Camo - people on hunting forums (joking).

So, now you know about yourself. I buy red. Wife buys white.

Some people just want to blend in. Saying the color determines how a truck looks is rather funny, and ridiculous.

Test drove a SR5 Tundra. No frills model. Nice truck, the 3.6 had PLENTY of power and speed. The price DRAMATICALLY goes up from this model to the $116,000 Capstone.

Think I would rather buy a 4 Runner though

rofl capstone 115k couldn’t even hold water for a Raptor or a TRex. Who on earth would pay 115k for a Toyota???

2jz Supra is a unicorn and only made famous from fast and a furious. Stock 2jz Supra would get ate up by a modern coyote engine mustang. Only when you up the turbos does it really sing, and I give Toyota props for building a stock engine that can take that.

My sunglasses are polished and idk what corarona is but sipping on a little bacones rum tonight.

Shout out John (TexasLefty)

They did that in the 90s Kyle. The coyote has potential but Grannas in a stick shift is running 6s. A coyote may do that a few times and he has done it for awhile as in years....

Screw your edit lol
