I helped my Dad build this pit in the mid 90’s, it’s got a lot of miles on it but still runs like a champ. Sure do miss that man. Couple Select 10 lb briskets cooking.

Briskets look great.

If you`ll paint that pit you helped your dad make, you`ll have your memory a lot longer. eeks333

Thanks. I start the fire with Live Oak, then it's all mesquite from there.

I know, wish it was mine. After my Dad passed my brother and I had a falling out and he took this pit. I only get to cook on it every once and a while now. If I owned it, it would be well taken care of and passed down to my kids. It's well built and holds a good temp.

Thanks. When they're done, they'll eat. Will have a good bark and be tender & juicy.

Not my best, but fun to cook on my Dad’s old pit. I suck at hot & fast briskets, I’m a low and slow guy. These are the fastest briskets I’ve ever cooked. They’ll be on point by the morning.

any chance the pit could help lead to a reconciliation?

I had a falling out with my brother. I'd like to mend that fence. Think you can come cook for us?

Good results, especially a select grade brisket!
